What awaits you

You can start your nursing internship or your clinical traineeship on different days of the week.

On the first day, the day begins as follows:

• Getting to know each other & hospital tour
• Introduction & allocation to your departments

Exciting cases and operations await you every weekday:

• Monday: urological operations
• Tuesday: neurosurgical operations
• Wednesday: oncological operations
• Thursday: Emergency surgery & transplant surgery
• Friday: Emergency surgery & general surgery

Your personal travel plan

Arrival

• Arrival at Kathmandu Airport
• Pick up at the airport and transfer to accommodation (approx. 15min)
• Arrive, eat and relax then Introduction

Tour of Galle

• We show you the city
• Getting a SIM card
• Money exchange
• We show you good spots
• We explain rules of conduct and laws
• Leisure activities (tours, sightseeing, party etc.)

Nursing internship / clinical traineeship

• Common outward and return journey to the hospital in a private van
• First day in hospital:
  Tour of the hospital, division into desired department
• At the end of the clinical traineeship, issue of the certificate

Departure

• Transport to the airport in Colombo
